CREWE – CHESHIRE CAMPUS

Apollo Buckingham Campus is located in Crewe. Opened in 1916 as a medical college, it was the first UK campus dedicated to healthcare. The campus is a short walk from the town centre and offers modern classrooms and excellent sports facilities. Crewe sits in North West England, close to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool — all easily explored as part of the programme.

15 hours of English lessons per week
9 hours of English Plus per week
Ages: 11–17

English Plus options in Crewe:

  • 1- Multi-activity: A fun mix of sport and enrichment (tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming, workshops, football).
  • 2- Intensive English: Extra language development aligned with the UKLC academic syllabus.

Excursions:

Manchester, Birmingham, Chester, Shrewsbury, Liverpool, and a Crewe town discovery trail (treasure hunt).

UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH

The campus is based in the heart of Portsmouth, just a short walk from the seafront and traditional piers. Accommodation is around a 5-minute walk from the classrooms. Portsmouth offers a great mix of attractions and is also close to Brighton and London.

English Plus options in Portsmouth:

  • 1- Multi-activity: A sport and leisure mix (tennis, basketball, swimming, football, drama).
  • 2- Intensive English: Enhanced language development aligned with the UKLC academic syllabus.
  • 3- Performing arts: Practical training in dance, acting, singing and video-making.

Excursions:

London, Oxford, Brighton, a Portsmouth walking tour, Gunwharf Quays & the Spinnaker Tower, and Arundel Castle.
